Smoking is a multi-dimensional issue. For some people it’s more multi-dimensional than for others. Issues of control, identity, chemical dependence, emotional dependence, childhood experiences, stress management, etc..
I use EFT Coaching to help people manage cravings… but that’s only a small part of quitting smoking. We also clear the emotional causes underneath. What does smoking mean to you? What do you get out of it that you would miss or feel bad about if you didn’t have the smokes? Who would you be without the cigarettes? These are very real concerns that can cause you to cling to smoking at an unconscious level. This is what Emotional Freedom Technique coaching is designed for… clearing out those unconscious emotional causes.
